About the Role

As an Auto Body Repair Tech at our Plainfield, Union County location, you'll handle light bodywork that prepares each vehicle for sale. We're seeking Autobody Preppers with at least one year of professional automotive bodywork experience who are detail-driven and eager to deliver consistent, high-quality results on every car that comes through the shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform light auto body repair and reconditioning on used vehicles
• Prep, sand, and buff body panels to a smooth, paint-ready finish
• Remove and reinstall components as needed to complete bodywork
• Inspect surfaces for imperfections and correct them to meet quality standards
• Keep your work area organized, safe, and efficient throughout each shift

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional automotive bodywork experience
• Practical skill in prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicle surfaces
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work full-time, on-site in Plainfield, Union County
