Amcor is hiring a full-time Evening Electrical Maintenance Technician in the United States to keep production equipment running safely and reliably through every shift.
About the Role
As an Evening Electrical Maintenance Technician at Amcor, you will diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems during evening operations. Working hands-on with production machinery, you'll help minimize downtime and uphold the high safety and quality standards Amcor is known for across its US facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems and complete repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Confirm every machine is in safe working order before handing it back to production staff.
- Verify that each repair is effective and resolves the original fault.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to keep equipment dependable.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of the facility, its equipment, and its procedures.
- Record completed work accurately and in line with established documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and to confirming equipment is safe before release.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and methodically test repair outcomes.
- Availability to work an evening schedule on a full-time basis.
- A continuous-improvement mindset and reliable documentation habits.
