About This Opportunity
We are representing a well-established software consultancy in Düsseldorf that specializes in enterprise software solutions. Our client is seeking an apprentice (Auszubildende/r) for a Fachinformatiker/in Anwendungsentwicklung position—a vocational training role in application development.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career in enterprise software development. You'll gain hands-on experience working with business software systems while completing your formal IT apprenticeship qualification.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of customer-specific software solutions
- Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement of enterprise software systems
- Conduct software testing and quality assurance activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications
- Present solutions and applications to internal teams and users
- Provide user training and consultation
- Create technical documentation
What We're Looking For
- Strong interest and enthusiasm for software development in the enterprise context
- Good to very good Abitur or Fachabitur qualification; university dropouts are also welcome to apply
- Excellent German language skills (required for daily work and training)
- English language skills are advantageous
- Basic understanding of business processes is a plus
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Motivated team player with a positive attitude

Pay
