Tripalink is seeking an Assistant Property Manager - Arlington, VA to join its team in Arlington, Arlington County.

The role supports the property management team in delivering high‑quality housing experiences while helping residents feel at home.

About the Role

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the property manager to oversee daily operations, ensure resident satisfaction, and maintain the community’s standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative tasks, resident interaction, and property upkeep in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist with leasing activities, including conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease documents.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and service requests and resolve resident concerns, fostering a positive living experience.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs with trusted vendors, tracking work orders to completion.
• Help collect rent, post payments, and manage delinquency follow‑up according to company policy.
• Maintain accurate resident files, lease agreements, and property records in the management software.
• Support move‑in and move‑out processes, including inspections, key handling, and deposit accounting.
• Assist in preparing monthly performance reports and monitoring budget variances.
• Participate in community events and initiatives that promote resident engagement and retention.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in property management, leasing, or a related customer‑service role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with residents and team members.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail when handling paperwork and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and local rental laws.
• Competence with property management platforms such as Yardi, AppFolio, or similar systems.
• Basic math proficiency for rent calculations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or certification in real estate is a plus.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to adapt to shifting priorities in a growing startup.
