About the Role

This travel respiratory therapy position places you in a dynamic neonatal intensive care environment where you'll support the critical care needs of premature and medically fragile infants. Your assignment begins as soon as possible and runs for 12 weeks at 36 hours per week on night shifts lasting 12 hours each. As a traveling healthcare professional, you'll bring specialized expertise to an essential clinical team while gaining valuable experience across different healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient airways and oversee ventilator setup, operation, and monitoring for neonatal patients
• Administer oxygen therapy and adjust respiratory support based on clinical assessments
• Perform patient evaluations and respiratory assessments to guide treatment decisions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient status to interdisciplinary care teams
• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition and provide emergency respiratory support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to optimize patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Valid Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Demonstrated experience in neonatal or pediatric respiratory care preferred
