About This Position

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join one of the world's most recognised premium retailers at their Canberra Centre location. The role involves working alongside an experienced Store Manager to lead a team of approximately 35 people in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in leading and managing a team of around 35 employees
• Support in creating a positive customer experience through effective team management and coaching
• Ensure store operations run smoothly, meeting sales targets and maintaining high standards of service
• Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and performance
• Contribute to the overall success of the retail environment by fostering a motivated and engaged workforce

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager with proven leadership skills in a retail setting. Key requirements include:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and motivate staff
• The ability to manage high-pressure environments and meet sales targets
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A passion for retail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
