Position Summary
This is an opportunity to join an established hospitality group operating a seriously busy, multifaceted venue in the Sydney CBD. The role involves managing high-volume food and beverage operations, sports, gaming, functions, entertainment, and handling trade that can extend from Friday afternoons into night shifts. It’s fast-paced, social, hands-on, and no two shifts are alike.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth running of the venue

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer service issues and complaints professionally
- Monitor financial performance and manage budgets
- Support marketing efforts for events and functions
- Collaborate with other managers to achieve venue goals
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a dynamic individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role
- A proven track record in managing high-volume operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with POS systems and financial management tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
