What This Role Involves

As an Assistant IVF Lab Technician, you'll work directly with the IVF Lab Manager to keep laboratory operations running smoothly. Your focus will be on supporting daily production activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring specimens are handled with precision and care. You'll be the backbone of lab efficiency—managing materials, executing standard procedures, and collaborating across the team to deliver consistent, high-quality results in a reproductive genetics laboratory.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform standard laboratory procedures under the guidance of the IVF Lab Manager
• Transport and log specimens with attention to chain-of-custody and labeling requirements
• Enter and verify data accurately in laboratory information systems
• Clean, prepare, and maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces
• Assist with quality control checks and process documentation
• Coordinate with team members across the laboratory to support workflow and production schedules
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
