We're seeking an experienced and vigilant Armed Security Officer to maintain safety and security at our Texas City location. Working for one of the region's trusted security providers, you'll be part of a team dedicated to protecting people, property, and assets through professional, responsive security services. Shift schedules vary based on operational needs, with day, evening, weekend, and holiday assignments available, including rotating schedules.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to detect and prevent security threats and breaches
- Control and monitor access points, verifying credentials and enforcing entry procedures
- Respond promptly to security incidents and disturbances, taking appropriate action to protect people and property
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation for accountability and compliance
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and security systems
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor
What We're Looking For
- Valid armed security certification or willingness to obtain one
- Current license and clearance appropriate for armed security work
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
