About the Role
As a Principal Director, you'll lead a practice focused on solving the most complex challenges facing today's utility companies—from retail energy transformation to transmission and distribution network modernization. You'll partner with C-suite executives at major utilities to design and execute digital strategies that drive operational efficiency, improve asset performance, and enhance customer engagement.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor cross-functional consulting teams delivering ArcGIS-based solutions for utility clients
- Direct enterprise-scale digital transformation programs addressing grid modernization, renewable integration, and customer platforms
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new utility services and capabilities
- Build and strengthen client relationships with utility executives, managing strategic accounts and revenue growth
- Oversee client success and drive outcomes in operational cost reduction, revenue protection, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Collaborate with Accenture's technology and innovation teams to bring cutting-edge solutions to utility industry challenges
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years in the utilities, energy, or related infrastructure industries
- Proven track record leading large, complex consulting or transformation engagements
- Deep understanding of transmission and distribution (T&D) operations and utility business models
- Experience with digital customer engagement platforms and operations technology
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to drive P&L and client revenue outcomes
- Leadership experience building and scaling consulting teams
- ArcGIS or GIS platform knowledge a plus
