This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced AI systems and public-sector impact, partnering with government agencies and international institutions to deliver transformative solutions.

In this role, you will serve as a hands-on engineering partner to sophisticated public-sector customers across international markets. You'll move projects from strategy through production-ready implementation, working closely with policymakers, technical teams, systems integrators, and regional cloud providers. This position requires someone who can navigate complex regulatory environments while delivering measurable value through AI applications.

The role operates on a hybrid model with three days per week in the London office. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on technical implementations with international public-sector customers, building applications using supported AI model APIs and approved technologies
• Partner with senior government stakeholders to identify high-value AI applications and develop comprehensive implementation roadmaps
• Accelerate customer outcomes by building prototypes, providing strategic guidance, and collaborating with systems integrators and implementation partners
• Design architectures that address data sovereignty, inference location, privacy requirements, and production-readiness for regulated environments
• Manage relationships with customer leadership and implementation partners to ensure successful deployment and scaling
• Contribute to open-source resources and internal knowledge repositories, codifying best practices for the broader team
• Synthesize customer feedback and deliver actionable insights to product, engineering, and research functions
• Work across time zones as needed to support stakeholders in target regions and travel for customer delivery

What We're Looking For

• Substantial technical consulting or delivery experience with international public-sector or similarly regulated customers
• Proven track record leading generative AI or traditional ML implementations for government agencies, working alongside systems integrators
• Strong understanding of network and cloud architecture, including on-premise deployments, with practical judgment around privacy, data residency, sovereign environments, and customer authorization
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, capable of engaging public-sector executives, technical teams, legal stakeholders, and regional partners
• End-to-end ownership mentality with willingness to acquire new knowledge rapidly
• High-throughput operator who can manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively
• Collaborative mindset with humility and eagerness to support team success
• UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance strongly preferred, particularly for work with UK intelligence and defense customers

Pay
