Analyst, Data Operations & Analytics

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS client seeking an Analyst, Data Operations & Analytics to join their data team in Paris. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between data, product, and business teams, transforming complex business questions into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. You'll build data models, create compelling visualizations, and establish reporting frameworks that drive decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive understanding of business processes, customer journeys, and data structures to provide accurate, contextual analysis
• Conduct segmentation analysis, customer health assessments, and impact measurement to track business performance
• Write complex SQL queries and build datasets by pulling from multiple data sources to address stakeholder questions
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports that enable business partners to monitor KPIs and identify trends
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis plans
• Present findings with clear visualizations and narratives that communicate insights and implications effectively
• Identify and investigate data quality issues, documenting findings and escalating root causes appropriately
• Stay current with developments in analytics, machine learning models, and emerging data technologies

What We're Looking For

• 2–3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a comparable analytics role
• Strong SQL skills with ability to query and join data across multiple sources comfortably
• Experience building dashboards or reports using Looker or similar BI platforms
• Python experience for data analysis is a plus
• Exposure to Hospitality, Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Sales, or operational business environments preferred
• Proven ability to translate business questions into analysis frameworks and ask clarifying questions when requirements are unclear
• Meticulous attention to data accuracy with strong ability to identify anomalies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments with strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, Dataform, GitHub, Salesforce, Segment, or Heap is advantageous
