About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media and data organization in Berlin that is seeking an AI & Automation Working Student (m/f/d) to join their 3-person data team. Our client operates at the intersection of content, technology, and analytics, with a strong focus on AI-driven process optimization and scalability.

This role offers hands-on experience building automation workflows, integrating data systems, and implementing AI-based solutions that directly impact operations. You'll work on productive projects with real responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize automated workflows using tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
• Connect and integrate various tools and systems including Airtable, HubSpot, Google Workspace, and APIs
• Test and implement AI-supported solutions for content creation, data analysis, and process optimization
• Transform, clean, and structure data for operational teams
• Research, test, and document new AI and automation tools
• Create clear documentation of processes and automations to ensure transparency and scalability

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program focused on Data Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration with Analytics focus, or comparable field
• Demonstrated project experience through freelancing, side projects, or university projects with practical application
• 1–2 relevant internships, ideally in startup, scaleup, or VC environments
• Hands-on experience with data preparation and transformation (Excel, Python, SQL, Google Sheets)
• Proficiency with automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Airtable Automations
• Experience working with database tools like Airtable or similar platforms
• Strong motivation and ability to quickly learn new systems
• German language skills (this is a German-language working environment)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with API integrations
• Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript
• Understanding of CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
• Interest in data analysis and visualization
