Advanced Provider – Emergency Medicine – Ascension St. Vincent’s Emergency Room Westside

Vituity is hiring an Advanced Provider for Emergency Medicine at Ascension St. Vincent's Emergency Room Westside in Orange Park, Clay County, Florida. This is a part-time clinical position where you'll deliver direct patient care and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff in a high-acuity emergency care setting.

About the Role

As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Provider with Vituity, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, stabilize, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions. You'll function as an integral member of the emergency care team, taking on clinical responsibilities that directly impact patient outcomes and department efficiency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical examination, and risk stratification
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic testing including imaging, laboratory work, and point-of-care studies
• Perform emergency procedures and therapeutic interventions appropriate to your scope of practice
• Develop and communicate treatment plans in collaboration with emergency physicians and the care team
• Provide patient education and coordinate discharge planning or hospital admission
• Maintain detailed, accurate electronic health records and documentation
• Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and evidence-based emergency medicine

What We're Looking For

• Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Emergency medicine clinical experience or proven ability to rapidly acquire emergency medicine competencies
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to quality patient care and professional collaboration
