About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital healthcare organization seeking an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role in Winnersh. Our client operates a modern, technology-enabled online pharmacy focused on dispensing excellence—no retail counter, no walk-in patients, no OTC sales. This is an opportunity to work in a purpose-built environment where accuracy, quality, and patient safety come first.

Responsibilities

• Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medicines, ensuring full compliance with legal, operational, and safety standards
• Take ownership of the end-to-end dispensing process, not just individual tasks
• Maintain clear, accurate prescription records and escalate discrepancies immediately
• Mentor junior colleagues and help build a team culture rooted in accountability, safety, and quality
• Stay current on professional development, best practice, and regulatory changes
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure timely, accurate patient care

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent ACT qualification
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC (required)
• Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking
• Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and SOPs
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Direct communicator who takes accountability and acts proactively
• Genuine commitment to patient outcomes and safety
