Accounts Payable Clerk

Island View Casino Resort is hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk in Gulfport, Harrison County. In this role, you'll manage the complete accounts payable function, processing invoices and payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

About the Role

As Accounts Payable Clerk at Island View Casino Resort, you'll own the daily operations of our accounts payable department. This is a full-time position where attention to detail and accuracy are essential. You'll process vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, and ensure all financial transactions comply with company procedures and generally accepted accounting principles.

What You'll Do

• Process full-cycle accounts payable transactions daily, from invoice receipt through payment
• Review, verify, and audit invoices and payment claims submitted by departments across the resort
• Record expenses against appropriate accounts and verify compliance with company policies
• Ensure all payments are processed accurately and on schedule
• Manage weekly check runs and payment processes
• Maintain organized records and documentation for all accounts payable activities

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience with accounts payable processing
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
• Ability to manage multiple invoices and deadlines efficiently
• Understanding of accounting principles and invoice processing procedures
