The Opportunity
Bazaarvoice is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our team in Austin, Texas, Texas. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a territory, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth through effective prospecting, negotiation, and closing of deals. You will work closely with a dynamic team dedicated to connecting brands and retailers with consumers through innovative solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the SMB market
- Manage existing accounts and grow sales within your assigned territory
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers at potential clients
- Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
- Provide regular updates on account progress and sales performance to management
What You Bring
- Proven track record of successful sales in the B2B or B2C space, preferably with experience in technology solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
