About the Role

We are seeking a Health & Safety Business Partner to support the delivery of health and safety initiatives, capability uplift, and compliance outcomes across a selected business segment. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe working environment while contributing to our mission of transforming waste into resources and renewable energy.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification
• Provide training and capability uplift for employees
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Analyze incidents and near-misses to improve safety measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in health and safety practices

Qualifications

• A degree in Health & Safety, Occupational Hygiene, or a related field
• Certified Professional in Environmental, Health, and Safety (CPEH) or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety roles within the industrial sector
• Strong knowledge of OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the organization
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
