The Opportunity

Join Trinityhealth as a Full Time Registered Nurse - Emergency Room at Nazareth Hospital, where you will serve as a frontline clinician managing acute cases from arrival through disposition. The role centers on rapid assessment, evidence-based interventions, and seamless coordination within an emergency department environment that values clear communication and patient-centered decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing triage and primary assessments for patients presenting with medical, surgical, or trauma needs in the emergency room.
• Administer medications, start intravenous lines, and carry out prescribed treatments while monitoring vital signs and responses.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technicians, and other nurses to implement care plans and prepare patients for admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient status accurately in the electronic record to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to code situations, prioritize multiple high-acuity cases, and educate patients and families about next steps and follow-up.
• Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and adhere to infection-control and safety protocols throughout every shift.

Who We're Looking For

• Current registered nurse licensure meeting state requirements for practice at Nazareth Hospital.
• Proven clinical judgment and ability to work effectively under pressure in emergency department settings.
• Proficiency with standard emergency procedures, cardiac monitoring, and basic life-support techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills for clear handoffs, teamwork, and compassionate patient interactions.
• Willingness to work Full Time schedules that support continuous emergency coverage at the hospital.
