Key Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and radiographic equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Position patients correctly and explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Select appropriate technical factors and operate X-ray systems to capture clear diagnostic images
• Apply radiation safety practices to minimize exposure for patients, yourself, and colleagues
• Review images for quality, completeness, and proper labeling before releasing them to radiologists
• Document procedures accurately in patient records and maintain equipment readiness through routine checks
• Follow infection control, departmental protocols, and regulatory guidelines during all work activities
• Assist physicians and technologists during fluoroscopic or special imaging studies when required

What You Bring

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Current ARRT certification in radiography and eligibility for or possession of state licensure
• Solid understanding of human anatomy, radiographic positioning, and radiation protection principles
• Ability to operate digital imaging equipment and evaluate image quality independently
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients who may feel anxious or in pain
• Attention to detail, physical stamina for standing and moving patients, and commitment to accuracy
• Knowledge of electronic health records and basic computer systems used in imaging departments
