Core Duties

• Evaluate sports-related and activity-based injuries, then design and implement individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans
• Apply preventive techniques, taping, and conditioning methods to reduce re-injury risk for participants
• Lead educational sessions and community benefit events that teach proper warm-up, recovery, and safety practices
• Coordinate outreach activities such as free screenings, workshops, and resource sharing to expand access to athletic training knowledge
• Document patient progress, communicate findings with physicians and coaches, and maintain accurate records in keeping with facility standards
• Respond promptly to on-site incidents and support safe return-to-activity decisions for athletes and community members

What You Bring

• Current Athletic Trainer certification (ATC) required for the Athletic Trainer Certified/Community Benefit Outreach- Fulltime title
• Solid grasp of musculoskeletal assessment, therapeutic exercise, and emergency care protocols common to athletic training
• Ability to translate clinical knowledge into clear, practical guidance for community audiences of varied ages and abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster trust with patients, families, coaches, and local partners
• Organized approach to juggling clinical caseloads with outreach scheduling and follow-up
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to professional ethical standards in both training and community settings
