Position Summary

As a Host(ess) at Fogo, you're the gateway to an unforgettable meal. You'll greet guests with genuine warmth, manage our dining room flow, and coordinate with kitchen and server teams to ensure every visit runs smoothly. This full-time role is essential to maintaining the energy and hospitality Fogo guests expect.

What You'll Do

• Greet and seat guests promptly, managing wait times with courtesy and accuracy
• Maintain the host stand, including reservation systems, guest lists, and accurate seating charts
• Answer phone inquiries, take reservations, and communicate special requests to the team
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by remembering returning guests and personalizing their experience
• Handle payment processing and manage the front-of-house during peak and off-peak hours
• Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when needed

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-focused during busy service
• Experience with reservation systems or point-of-sale platforms (preferred but not required)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Reliability and a collaborative mindset that supports your entire team
• Basic math skills for managing reservations and assisting with transactions
• A welcoming presence and genuine interest in creating positive guest interactions
