About This Position

As a PM Server at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, you'll be an essential part of our dining operations team during evening and night service. Your role combines professional service expertise with genuine hospitality to create memorable guest experiences. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail and warm guest interaction define success.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism, managing dining room flow and pacing
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating clearly with the kitchen team
• Deliver plates efficiently and safely, ensuring proper food presentation and guest satisfaction
• Service tables with knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine or beverage pairings
• Maintain dining room cleanliness, manage table resets, and ensure all service standards are met
• Address guest requests and concerns with professionalism and problem-solving mindset
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, food runners, and bussers to maintain smooth service
• Comply with health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant or hotel dining environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed during busy service periods
• Knowledge of dining service standards, menu offerings, and beverage service
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, carry trays, and move around the dining room
• Reliability and professionalism with a commitment to consistent, high-quality service
