Ambulatory Tech 1

Join Rochester as an Ambulatory Tech 1 in a full-time role at 140 Canal View Boulevard Suite 102. You'll provide essential support to our ambulatory care operations, helping deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Role Overview

The Ambulatory Tech 1 position is central to smooth clinic operations at our Rochester facility. In this role, you'll work alongside healthcare providers and nursing staff to support patient care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. Your contributions ensure patients receive efficient, compassionate service from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient registration, check-in procedures, and intake documentation
• Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Support clinical staff with patient preparation and room turnover between appointments
• Maintain and sterilize clinical equipment and instruments according to protocols
• Assist with basic medical procedures under provider supervision
• Help manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a busy clinical setting
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and privacy
• Prior patient care experience (preferred)
• Current CPR certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain
