Position Summary

This Senior Associate role focuses on architecting, developing, and optimising cloud-based data platforms using Snowflake. You'll work with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting PWC's advisory clients across industries. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, influence technical strategy, and directly impact client success through sophisticated data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Snowflake data warehouses and cloud data architectures for enterprise clients
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and integration solutions using industry best practices
• Collaborate with data analysts, business intelligence specialists, and stakeholders to define data requirements and delivery strategy
• Optimise data platform performance, security, and cost efficiency across client environments
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members on data engineering methodologies
• Lead technical workshops and advisory engagements with clients to assess data maturity and recommend solutions

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Snowflake development, including schema design, performance tuning, and security configuration
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or other modern programming languages for data manipulation and automation
• Experience designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, data lakes, or cloud data platforms
• Demonstrated ability to work on complex, multi-stakeholder client engagements in a consulting environment
• Knowledge of data architecture patterns, cloud infrastructure, and best practices in data governance
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with proven team collaboration experience
