Position Summary

As a Sales Associate at our new Beavercreek store, you'll be central to building customer relationships and driving sales across our product lines. You'll engage with customers on the retail floor, provide knowledgeable recommendations, complete transactions, and contribute to creating an inviting shopping experience that reflects L.L.Bean's heritage of quality and outdoor expertise.

Core Duties

• Greet customers, assess their needs, and recommend products tailored to their interests and lifestyle
• Process sales transactions using point-of-sale systems, handling payments and returns accurately
• Build product knowledge across clothing, footwear, and outdoor gear to position customers with the right fit and features
• Maintain floor displays, organize merchandise by category and size, and refresh visual presentations
• Support inventory management through stocking, tracking, and assisting with stockroom organization
• Collaborate with the opening team to set up and launch the new store location successfully
• Address customer questions and resolve concerns with professionalism and a service-first mindset

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven retail or customer-facing experience, or demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a sales environment
• Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with diverse customers
• Reliability and punctuality with flexibility to support store opening needs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed
• Basic math skills and comfort with cash handling and technology platforms
