Associate Engineer

Kone is seeking an Associate Engineer to join our team at the Chennai ITEC/KBS facility. This is a full-time position where you'll contribute to engineering initiatives supporting innovative mobility solutions.

Role Overview

As an Associate Engineer at Kone's Chennai ITEC/KBS location, you'll support core engineering functions and technical project delivery. Working closely with experienced engineers, you'll help develop, test, and refine solutions that enhance product quality and customer experience. This role combines direct technical contribution with valuable learning opportunities in a collaborative engineering environment.

Core Duties

• Participate in the design and development of engineering solutions and technical systems
• Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance activities on assigned projects
• Assist with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of technical challenges
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and engineering specifications
• Collect and analyse technical data to support process improvements and optimisations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives on schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and analytical problem-solving methods
• Proficiency with technical documentation; experience with CAD software is a plus
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work productively both independently and as part of team initiatives
• Organised approach to work with strong attention to detail and quality standards
