Associate Engineer

What This Role Involves

As an Associate Engineer at Kone, you will collaborate with experienced engineering professionals to contribute to product development, technical analysis, and systems implementation. You'll work on real-world challenges in elevator and escalator technology, gaining exposure to design cycles, testing protocols, and engineering best practices in a fast-paced, innovation-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the engineering team in designing, analysing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation activities to ensure product quality and safety compliance
• Assist with technical documentation, drawings, and specifications using CAD and engineering software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance
• Conduct research and feasibility studies to support project development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to problem-solving and process optimisation within engineering workflows

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
• Strong foundation in engineering principles, mathematics, and technical analysis
• Proficiency with CAD software and engineering simulation tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-team environments
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to technical accuracy
• Willingness to learn and grow within a structured engineering development programme
