What This Role Involves

You'll drive the engineering and development of sophisticated antenna systems for a transformative space-based Internet of Things platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving complex, one-of-a-kind technical challenges that reshape satellite communications and industrial IoT. Your work will enable worldwide connectivity and deliver actionable intelligence across industries, directly supporting the evolution of how organizations access and deploy IoT infrastructure from orbit.

Core Duties

• Lead the design, analysis, and development of payload antenna structures for LEO satellites
• Own the complete engineering lifecycle from concept through delivery and field validation
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate antenna systems into satellite payloads
• Develop innovative, purpose-built solutions to novel and complex engineering problems
• Perform structural analysis, finite element modeling, and testing to verify performance and durability
• Travel between engineering sites in California and Texas as program needs require

Skills & Qualifications

• Deep experience in mechanical design and structural engineering for space systems or other high-reliability applications
• Strong background in antenna design, RF structures, or advanced composite materials for aerospace
• Proficiency with CAD software, FEA tools, and engineering simulation platforms
• Experience managing design-to-delivery workflows and producing technical documentation
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex, multifaceted engineering challenges
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent field
