Professional Services Consultant – Life Sciences

Clinisys is hiring a full-time Professional Services Consultant – Life Sciences to join its team based in Tucson, Pima County, delivering hands-on implementation and consulting services directly at client laboratory sites across the country.

About the Role

In this client-facing position, you will be the on-site expert who guides laboratory teams through the successful adoption of Clinisys products. From project kickoff through go-live and beyond, you will own the delivery experience — keeping engagements on schedule, driving measurable outcomes, and ensuring every client walks away equipped to get the most from their laboratory information systems. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep knowledge of laboratory workflows with a genuine enthusiasm for travel and client partnership.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end implementation and consulting engagements at client laboratory sites, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget completion
• Collaborate directly with laboratory directors, informaticists, and bench staff to configure Clinisys solutions around real-world workflows
• Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to align product capabilities with each client's operational requirements
• Deliver training sessions and knowledge-transfer workshops that build lasting staff competency with Clinisys platforms
• Provide go-live support and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced laboratory environment, escalating complex technical matters as needed
• Document project progress, decisions, and outcomes to maintain clear client records and support continuous improvement
• Serve as a trusted advisor to laboratory clients, identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and expand effective product utilization

What We're Looking For

• Experience in laboratory operations, clinical informatics, or life sciences consulting — hands-on familiarity with laboratory workflows is essential
• Demonstrated ability to manage consulting or implementation projects from initiation through completion
• Strong communicator comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently to client sites as required by project assignments
• Problem-solving mindset with a track record of maintaining client satisfaction under real-world delivery pressures
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS), LIMS, or comparable healthcare IT platforms is a plus
