Sales Strategy & Operations Lead

Pinterest is hiring a Sales Strategy & Operations Lead to accelerate growth and operational excellence for our rapidly expanding Mid-Market advertising business in San Francisco, CA, US. In this full-time role, you'll partner directly with sales leaders to build market-winning strategies that drive revenue growth while helping millions discover inspiration on our platform.

Role Overview

Our Strategy & Operations team serves as a strategic backbone for the sales organization, combining deep business acumen with analytical rigor. You'll be instrumental in establishing, scaling, and refining our go-to-market strategy for the Mid-Market advertiser segment across North America and Europe, with pathways to expand globally. This is hands-on strategic work that blends analytical problem-solving with organizational leadership—you'll shape how we serve a critical growth segment.

Core Duties

• Partner with senior sales leaders on strategic initiatives, organizational design, and operational projects that boost revenue, enhance team productivity, and streamline workflows for Mid-Market sales teams
• Own project delivery from planning through execution—developing comprehensive workplans, conducting rigorous analysis, synthesizing findings, and delivering actionable recommendations to sales and company leadership
• Extract insights from sales metrics, market trends, and operational data; translate findings into clear strategies and direct recommendations for leadership
• Leverage structured customer data to deepen understanding of how advertisers interact with Pinterest's products and services
• Collaborate across Marketing, Measurement, Product, and Finance to align efforts and drive organizational impact
• Identify and redesign processes and systems that unlock business growth and operational scale
• Contribute to company-wide strategy development and planning cycles
• Apply AI tools to accelerate analysis and automate routine work, with rigorous validation and judgment applied throughout

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in strategy, operations, or analytics roles—ideally in management consulting, investment banking, or within tech or media companies
• Solid understanding of sales operations and digital advertising; working familiarity with sales platforms and tools
• Proven success solving complex business problems using data-driven analysis and insights
• Demonstrated effectiveness navigating rapidly changing, complex environments; strong execution at both strategic and tactical levels; organized and detail-oriented
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline (engineering, mathematics, economics, accounting) or equivalent professional experience; MBA is highly valued
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, and Salesforce is advantageous
• Hands-on experience using AI to increase speed and quality of data work, with disciplined verification practices
• Track record of critically evaluating AI-generated work—testing, validating sources, checking data accuracy, incorporating peer feedback
• High personal integrity; careful stewardship of confidential data; balanced AI use; full accountability for your recommendations and output
• Native or fluent English proficiency required
