Court Interpreter – OSI/VRI/OPI

Prisma International, Inc. is seeking a skilled Court Interpreter – OSI/VRI/OPI to provide professional interpretation services for legal proceedings serving the Concord, New Hampshire area. This is a contract position offering flexibility through multiple interpreting modalities, including on-site, video remote, and over-the-phone interpreting.

The Opportunity

As a Court Interpreter, you'll play a critical role in the justice system by ensuring clear, accurate communication between English-speaking and non-English-speaking participants in court proceedings. Working as a contract interpreter for Prisma International, Inc., you'll engage with diverse cases across civil, criminal, and administrative hearings. Your work directly impacts fair access to justice and legal clarity for all parties involved. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely through video and telephone interpreting, supplemented by on-site court appearances as needed in the Concord, New Hampshire region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, impartial interpretation in legal settings, including depositions, hearings, and trials
• Interpret using consecutive and simultaneous techniques as required by the proceeding
• Deliver interpretation across on-site, video remote (VRI), and over-the-phone (OPI) modalities
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics in all proceedings

• Document and report any interpretation challenges or concerns to supervisory staff

Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and at least one additional language commonly needed in court settings
