What This Role Involves
As NOC Analyst II, you'll take on a pivotal role in our Network Operations Centre, responsible for monitoring network performance, responding to incidents, and ensuring optimal system availability. This position bridges frontline support and senior infrastructure teams, requiring both technical expertise and clear communication under pressure.
What You'll Do
- Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and applications using industry-standard tools and platforms
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents within SLA targets
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff with comprehensive documentation
- Maintain accurate incident logs and contribute to root-cause analysis reports
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and system checks to prevent outages
- Respond to alerts and proactively investigate network anomalies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement monitoring improvements
- Provide second-level technical support for infrastructure-related issues
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a NOC Analyst or similar network monitoring role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network architecture
- Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or similar platforms
- Experience with ticketing systems and incident management
- Understanding of server infrastructure and Linux/Windows administration
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 operations environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent technical qualification preferred
