Granite School District is hiring a Full-Time Football Assistant Coach with Stipend at Skyline High in the US. This position is available to start as soon as possible and accepts applications through July 7, 2026.
About the Role
As an Assistant Coach for football, you'll support the head coach in developing competitive athletes while building a strong program culture. You'll be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and training student-athletes in fundamental skills, game strategy, and athletic excellence.
What You'll Do
- Coach football players during practice and games, focusing on skill development and tactical execution
- Assist with game planning, play calling, and in-game strategy with the coaching staff
- Develop training programs that improve player conditioning, technique, and performance
- Mentor student-athletes on discipline, teamwork, and personal growth both on and off the field
- Ensure all players follow safety protocols and compliance standards
- Attend team events, games, and additional coaching duties as assigned
- Help recruit and retain talent for the program
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience coaching or playing football at a competitive level
- Coaching certification or a strong background in athletic instruction
- Knowledge of football fundamentals, strategy, and skill progression
- Excellent communication and leadership skills working with high school athletes
- Ability to motivate teams and foster a positive athletic culture
- Willingness to pass a background check and maintain professional standards
- Valid government-issued ID and authorization to work in the US
