Piraeus Bank is seeking a Supervisory & Regulatory Affairs Professional to join our team in Athens, Attica, Greece. This full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring our organisation maintains compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and supervisory standards set by Greek and European banking authorities.

Position Summary

As a Supervisory & Regulatory Affairs Professional at Piraeus Bank, you will manage the complex relationship between our institution and supervisory authorities whilst ensuring comprehensive compliance with banking regulations. This role requires someone who can translate regulatory requirements into practical compliance measures, maintain meticulous oversight of supervisory obligations, and serve as a bridge between Piraeus Bank and regulatory bodies. Your work will be essential to the bank's operational integrity and regulatory standing.

Core Duties

• Monitor regulatory developments and supervisory guidance from Greek and European authorities, assessing impact on bank operations
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings to supervisory bodies within required timelines
• Co-ordinate with departments across Piraeus Bank to implement regulatory requirements and supervisory directives
• Identify regulatory risks, analyse compliance gaps, and recommend practical solutions to management
• Maintain comprehensive records of regulatory correspondence, compliance actions, and supervisory interactions
• Support internal audits and supervisory inspections by providing evidence of compliance and regulatory documentation
• Serve as the primary contact with regulatory authorities for supervisory matters and information requests
• Draft and review regulatory submissions and supervisory documentation for accuracy and completeness

What We're Looking For

• Solid understanding of Greek and European banking regulations, supervisory frameworks, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or supervisory roles within financial services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex regulatory concepts clearly
• Organised approach to managing multiple regulatory obligations and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency with regulatory reporting systems and financial documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively across internal departments and with external regulatory bodies
• Qualifications in finance, banking regulation, or compliance are valued
