Project Manager – Data Migration – Financial Services

Pierce Technology Corp is hiring a Project Manager – Data Migration for Financial Services to lead critical data transition initiatives for clients in the financial sector. This is a contract position based remotely in the United States.

What This Role Involves

As a Project Manager specializing in data migration within financial services, you'll oversee complex data infrastructure projects from planning through completion. Your focus will be ensuring seamless transitions of large-scale datasets while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and minimizing operational disruption. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and deliver solutions that enable financial institutions to modernize their technology infrastructure.

Core Duties

• Plan, scope, and schedule data migration projects for financial services clients
• Coordinate between IT teams, business stakeholders, and compliance departments
• Develop detailed migration timelines and resource allocation strategies
• Monitor project progress against established metrics and deliverables
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity and regulatory compliance
• Manage testing protocols to validate data accuracy and system functionality
• Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders
• Document processes and create post-implementation reports
