Recruitment Consultant – Industrial

What This Role Involves

You'll manage a diverse portfolio of permanent and temporary placements across Industrial, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Warehousing businesses throughout Essex, Kent, and the broader South East. Working directly with employers and candidates, you'll build relationships, identify talent gaps, and execute targeted recruitment campaigns that deliver results. This role combines consultative business development with hands-on recruitment delivery—you'll be both strategist and practitioner.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and interview candidates suited to industrial, logistics, and manufacturing roles
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and recruitment stakeholders
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: vacancy briefing, candidate attraction, screening, placement, and post-placement support
• Build a candidate pipeline for both immediate vacancies and future business opportunities
• Meet or exceed agreed placement targets and contribute to team revenue goals
• Stay current with market trends, labour availability, and wage benchmarking across your sectors

Who We're Looking For

• Proven track record as an Industrial or Logistics recruitment consultant—you understand the sector's language, roles, and hiring challenges
• Demonstrated success managing a caseload of permanent and temporary placements
• Comfortable with database management and recruitment systems; accuracy and organisation are non-negotiable
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with both candidates and employers
• Ambition to grow your own business within our supportive team environment
• Willingness to be based in Basildon, Essex, with occasional travel across the South East
