HR Business Partner

Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their well-established and expanding business in Colchester, Essex. This is a permanent, full-time office-based position where you'll provide strategic HR support to drive organisational success.

Position Summary

We're looking for a proactive HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the People Lead, you'll work closely with managers throughout the organisation to deliver effective people solutions, combining hands-on HR delivery with strategic business insight. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on workplace culture, employee engagement, and organisational performance.

What You'll Do

• Partner with managers to provide tailored HR support and guidance on people matters
• Support talent management activities including recruitment, onboarding, and employee development
• Manage performance management processes and provide coaching to managers
• Handle employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution
• Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies across all HR functions
• Develop and deliver training programmes to support manager capability and employee development
• Work collaboratively with payroll and other departments to ensure seamless HR operations
• Contribute to HR strategy and process improvements to support business growth

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and best practice in HR
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
• Commercial awareness and understanding of business objectives
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to deliver pragmatic solutions
• Relevant HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) desirable
