Nursing Assistant/Caregiver

Resolv Global is recruiting a full-time Nursing Assistant/Caregiver to join our residential care team in Roodepoort, West Johannesburg. We're looking for a compassionate, reliable professional to deliver exceptional nighttime support to our residents.

What This Role Involves

This full-time Nursing Assistant/Caregiver position is based in Roodepoort and centres on providing attentive, dignified care to residents during night hours. You'll maintain each resident's independence and individuality whilst offering essential support with personal care, mobility assistance, and emotional wellbeing. Strong communication is vital—you'll liaise with residents, family members, and the wider care team to ensure everyone receives tailored, responsive support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including washing, dressing, and toileting
• Support residents with safe mobility and transferring between areas
• Monitor and report on residents' physical and emotional wellbeing
• Respond promptly and compassionately to residents' requests and concerns
• Maintain accurate records of care provided
• Collaborate with night shift colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Genuine compassion for older people and vulnerable individuals
• Physical capability to assist with personal care and mobility support
• Reliability and professional conduct
• Previous experience in elder or residential care is preferred but not essential—comprehensive training will be provided
