Sales Director, Payments (DACH)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital asset infrastructure company seeking a Sales Director, Payments (DACH) based in Berlin. In this role, you will drive growth within the blockchain payments sector across the DACH region. You will be responsible for:

• Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Collaborating with business development and go-to-market teams to generate and qualify leads
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with prospects and customers in the payments space
• Conducting prospecting, territory, and account planning to identify new opportunities
• Maintaining accurate account and pipeline information in the CRM system
• Targeting payment service providers, cross-border payment companies, remittances, and various other payment providers
• Collaborating closely with regional sales teams, sales engineers, and product teams

What We're Looking For

• Enterprise SaaS or institutional sales experience, with proven success selling into the payments space
• Passion for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
• Track record of over-achievement in an enterprise sales position
• Experience within financial services, cybersecurity, or cryptocurrency is preferred
• Experience formalizing and supporting co-sell motions with technology partners is preferred
• Demonstrated success closing complex deals within financial services or fintech sectors
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a relentless hunting attitude
• Willingness to prospect and qualify new opportunities
• Ability to thrive in a team-selling environment
