Our client works with leading aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, materials, and energy companies on their most critical engineering problems.

As their recruiting partner, Get A Job.ai is seeking a Data Scientist to join their delivery team in London. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced machine learning, physics modeling, and real-world industrial applications—building solutions that directly enable better engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Pre-process and analyze complex engineering data to prepare it for predictive modeling and machine learning applications
• Develop and deploy deep learning models combined with state-of-the-art optimization methods to predict and control physical system behavior
• Design, build, and test scalable data pipelines that are reliable and production-ready
• Collaborate closely with simulation engineers to ensure seamless integration of data science models with simulation workflows
• Take full ownership of the quality, accuracy, and impact of your technical work
• Contribute to internal R&D and product development, helping refine models and identify new application areas
• Engage directly with customers through on-site collaboration, including travel averaging 3-4 weeks per quarter to locations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania
• Present technical work to both engineering teams and customer stakeholders
• Support customer onboarding and co-development initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (data science, physics, engineering, mathematics, or related)
• At least 1 year of post-graduate industry experience in a commercial, non-research environment
• Strong foundations in data-driven modeling and deep learning techniques
• Hands-on experience with probabilistic methods and predictive modeling
• Expert-level Python skills with proficiency in NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Demonstrated ability to deploy scalable, production-ready models and data pipelines
• Ability to grasp advanced engineering concepts across multiple industries quickly
• Passion for creating practical solutions that solve real-world problems
• Natural ownership mentality with a drive to continuously improve systems and solutions
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally approximately 25% of the time
• Authorization to work in the UK

This role is based in London with a hybrid working model requiring 2-3 days per week in the central office.
