(Senior) Produkt Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization based in Munich seeking a (Senior) Product Manager for a parental leave coverage position (initially fixed-term for 2 years, with potential for permanent employment thereafter).

In this role, you'll take ownership of both operational and strategic product management, serving as the vital bridge between software development, design, customer success, and marketing teams. You'll ensure initiatives are implemented effectively and deliver measurable value to customers.

Responsibilities

Product Development & Agile Team Leadership

• Lead the development team through daily standups, bi-weekly sprint planning sessions, and sprint reviews including demonstrations
• Collaborate closely with development on technical implementations and participate in weekly architecture and technical direction discussions

Cross-Functional Alignment & Customer Engagement

• Partner with Customer Success teams on enablement, support coordination, and ticket escalations
• Work with Product Marketing on feature development and positioning strategies
• Conduct workshops and integrations with external partners
• Lead customer meetings to gather feedback and address complex use cases
• Support sales efforts on enterprise deals and deliver bi-monthly product webinars for customers

Product Design, Specifications & Testing

• Design concrete product solutions including AI-powered features and write precise requirement specifications
• Prioritize sprints, organize the backlog in close coordination with Customer Success, and prioritize bug fixes
• Independently test new functionalities and platform components, particularly specialized scenarios

Release Management & Communication

• Create in-app messaging, write release notes including short video tutorials, and inform all stakeholders
• Ensure help center articles are maintained and kept current

What We're Looking For

• Experience: Multiple years of solid experience as a Product Manager, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments environments
• Agile Methodology: Proven track record with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban), experience leading sprint ceremonies, and familiarity with tools like Jira or Linear
• Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking: Deep understanding of product business models, ability to track relevant KPIs, and justify product decisions with commercial logic and clear customer value
• Product Discovery Skills: Strong ability to systematically validate user needs and market potential through customer interviews, data analysis, or prototyping before solutions enter development
• Technical Understanding: Ability to translate complex technical concepts (APIs, partner integrations, AI features) into clear requirements
• Cross-Functional Communication: Confident communicator with developers, partners, Customer Success teams, and C-level stakeholders
• Hands-On Mentality: Comfortable diving deep into specifications, testing scenarios, or resolving support cases yourself
• Customer Orientation: Experience conducting webinars and customer interviews
• Languages: Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
