About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential machine learning consultancy based in Berlin that delivers custom AI solutions to enterprise clients across manufacturing, logistics, and e-commerce sectors. Our talent team is seeking a working student to support business development outreach for their private sector client base.

This is a hybrid role based in Berlin, requiring approximately 20 hours per week during term time. You will own the outreach function, working directly with the business development and sales teams to build pipeline through targeted campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute outreach campaigns using established automation tools, LinkedIn platforms, contact databases, and CRM systems
• Build and segment target audiences for prospecting activities
• Maintain data quality across all outreach channels and ensure CRM hygiene
• Track campaign performance and maintain reliable reporting metrics
• Handle operational tasks including list maintenance, contact verification, response sorting, and sequence follow-up
• Support ad-hoc business development activities as they arise
• Collaborate with senior team members on customer engagement strategy

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with at least three semesters remaining
• German language skills at C2 level minimum, as you will be writing client-facing communications for the DACH market
• Working proficiency in English for internal team collaboration
• Strong business acumen and interest in understanding how industrial organisations make purchasing decisions
• Proven reliability in completing defined tasks independently and documenting work accurately
• Quick learner with affinity for software tools and process automation
• Clear, error-free written communication skills in German
• Comfortable with telephone outreach and in-person networking at events
• Based in Berlin and available for approximately 20 hours per week
• Prior experience in sales, business development, or startup environments is beneficial but not required
