(Senior) Controller – Produktion & Supply Chain Management (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential food manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Controller for Production & Supply Chain Management. In this role, you will serve as a business partner connecting operational excellence with financial insight across the value chain.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Documenting and analyzing processes across procurement, production, and logistics operations
• Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives by translating operational opportunities into measurable financial impacts
• Developing performance measurement systems including OEE, material consumption tracking, and production efficiency metrics
• Managing inventory analysis and logistics cost monitoring
• Consolidating cost and volume data from ERP and BI systems to create transparent costing models
• Identifying cost drivers and efficiency opportunities, delivering actionable recommendations to production, logistics, and procurement teams
• Building process-oriented cost structures that support data-driven decision making

What We're Looking For

Professional background:

• Substantial experience in at least one of these areas: Supply Chain Management, Lean Management/Production, or operational production controlling
• Understanding of how procurement, production, and supply chain processes interconnect
• Ability to communicate effectively with both operations teams and finance stakeholders

Technical skills:

• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or comparable platforms)
• Familiarity with modern BI tools such as Power BI is a plus

Personal attributes:

• Structured, analytical working style with strong initiative
• Solution-oriented mindset and resilience
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners
• Process-focused thinking that bridges operations and finance

Industry experience:

• Food or FMCG background is beneficial but not required
• Professionals from other manufacturing sectors (automotive, machinery, chemicals) are welcome if eager to learn food production processes

Language: German proficiency required for this Ahrensburg, Germany-based position

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience level and qualifications.
