Strategy & Operations Lead, UK

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization seeking a Strategy & Operations Lead to drive growth and market expansion across the UK and broader European markets. This is a high-impact individual contributor role combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, focused primarily on consumer products with opportunities to create impact across business lines.

Based in London with a hybrid work model (3 days per week in office), you'll develop country-level strategies, align cross-functional teams, and personally drive initiatives from insight through measurable outcomes. This position requires someone who can balance rigorous analysis with urgent execution and influence stakeholders across product, growth, marketing, partnerships, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop country strategies, priorities, and forecasts for key European markets, translating global objectives into practical local action
• Drive growth and conversion through data analysis, customer insights, and experimentation to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization
• Lead market expansion and localization efforts by identifying opportunities, building scalable launch frameworks, and determining where products and go-to-market approaches should adapt
• Personally move strategic initiatives from diagnosis and prioritization through delivery, measurement, and iteration
• Align cross-functional teams including product, growth, marketing, partnerships, finance, research, operations, and compliance around shared outcomes
• Represent European market and customer perspectives to ensure they shape global roadmaps and strategic decisions
• Define success metrics and determine when successful local approaches should be replicated across markets

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in growth, strategy, business operations, or quantitative analytics with meaningful responsibility for outcomes
• Proven track record developing country, regional, or multi-market strategies and translating them into focused execution plans
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including forecasting, financial modeling, and growth metrics
• Demonstrated examples of personally taking initiatives from insight through launch and measurement
• Deep understanding of European markets while maintaining a regional and scalable perspective
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders and ability to influence teams without formal authority
• High ownership mindset and ability to operate with urgency in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments
• Deep interest in artificial intelligence and alignment with advancing AI technology responsibly
