About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization that has built a modern analytics practice supporting go-to-market functions. Our client is a well-funded, high-growth company that has moved beyond basic reporting into building sophisticated, AI-forward analytics capabilities.
As a Senior Data Analyst focused on GTM Analytics, you'll partner directly with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to answer critical questions about pipeline health, conversion metrics, campaign performance, and retention drivers. You'll work within a structured analytics engineering environment, operating in two-week sprints and contributing to an internal BI-as-code platform where dashboards and metrics live in version-controlled code.
This role reports to a Senior Manager of Analytics and offers the chance to shape how a scaling organization approaches decision support and agentic analytics workflows.
Responsibilities
- Deliver decision-ready analysis across Sales, Marketing, and Client Success domains including pipeline health, funnel conversion, campaign and channel performance, cohort retention, and revenue expansion drivers
- Partner directly with GTM stakeholders to scope analytical questions, frame recommendations, and drive analysis through to actionable decisions
- Build and maintain dbt models and data marts for GTM domains, with Salesforce as a core source system
- Own data quality and documentation for your domain, establishing clear definitions and source-of-truth tables that stakeholders can trust
- Contribute to the development of an internal BI-as-code platform, helping define how dashboards, metrics, and semantic models are written, versioned, and reviewed
- Push analytics workflows toward agentic AI capabilities, using AI agents to accelerate analysis and automate recurring reporting
- Operate in two-week sprints, planning and prioritizing your backlog against team objectives
- Provide clear, proactive status updates to stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in analytics or BI roles, with substantial experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success functions at a fast-growing company
- Expert-level SQL skills and hands-on dbt experience modeling GTM data
- Proficiency with Python for analysis and automation tasks
- Deep experience with Salesforce as a data source, including understanding of CRM objects, fields, and data modeling quirks
- Familiarity with modern data stack components including ELT tooling and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or BigQuery experience preferred)
- Experience with modern BI tools such as Sigma, Hex, Tableau, or Looker, with understanding of governed semantic layers and self-serve dashboard approaches
- Demonstrated curiosity about agentic analytics and experience using AI agents or LLM tools to accelerate analytical work
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills with ability to frame recommendations clearly for non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable owning deliverables through to completion and operating with accountability
- Energized by ambiguity, fast iteration, and shipping work frequently
Staff-level candidates should demonstrate experience owning larger or more ambiguous problems end-to-end, with a track record of setting technical direction beyond execution.
