About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS organization in the DACH region. They are seeking a Mid-Market Sales Development Representative to join their Cologne office and drive outbound pipeline generation across German-speaking markets.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on cold calling, loves networking, and wants to accelerate their sales career in a high-growth environment. You'll be connecting with decision-makers in IT security, qualifying opportunities, and building a robust pipeline for the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Execute targeted outbound prospecting to SMB and mid-market accounts through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Conduct structured daily cold calling blocks and outreach activities—daily outbound is a core requirement of this position
- Qualify inbound leads and identify high-potential accounts for further engagement
- Schedule qualified meetings with prospects and develop early-stage opportunities to fill the sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, notes, and opportunity status in the CRM system
- Work toward ambitious targets with a consistent commitment to meeting or exceeding goals
- Develop deep knowledge of the product, buyer personas, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to align on ideal customer profiles, share market feedback, and optimize outreach strategies
- Present the SaaS solution via phone, video meetings, and occasionally at in-person events
- Deploy creative, out-of-the-box sales tactics to continuously expand your pipeline
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (sales, customer service, or recruiting) is a plus
- Open to feedback, eager to learn, and motivated to continuously improve
- Clear communicator with active listening skills and confident presence in client conversations
- Organized and goal-focused, even under pressure
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal rigid processes
- Growth mindset—you don't give up when challenges arise and are driven to develop professionally
- Performance-oriented with a desire to achieve measurable results
- Experience with CRM and outreach tools is beneficial
- Willing to work at least 3 days per week in the Cologne office (hybrid model)
- Native or fluent German and good working proficiency in English
