Project Manager – Strategic Projects & Cross-Functional Initiatives (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media technology organization with operations in Berlin and New York. Our client is experiencing significant growth and needs a strategic Project Manager to drive cross-functional initiatives that will shape the company's continued development.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy and execution, managing high-impact projects that span multiple departments and directly influence executive-level decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and cross-functional projects from initial structuring through planning, implementation and follow-up
• Analyze complex business, organizational and operational topics and develop clear recommendations and decision-making materials
• Prepare management decisions, presentations, briefings and other materials for executive leadership
• Coordinate teams, stakeholders and external partners across different functions and locations
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including milestones, responsibilities, dependencies and risk assessments
• Identify opportunities for optimization and growth and independently develop and implement appropriate initiatives
• Track decisions, action items and project progress while proactively identifying and resolving blockers
• Establish transparent reporting and communication structures for ongoing projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Support specific strategic initiatives across business model development, organization, partnerships, platform, content or international collaboration

What We're Looking For

• At least five years of professional experience in management consulting, strategic project management, PMO, Corporate Strategy, Business Operations or a comparable role
• Proven experience independently managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Strong ability to quickly understand complex topics, analyze them in a structured way and translate them into clear recommendations and actionable measures
• Experience preparing management decisions and creating compelling presentations, analyses and decision papers
• Confident use of project management methods, planning and documentation tools, with consistent focus on objectives, priorities, timelines and responsibilities
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with confidence working with executives, senior leaders, functional teams and external partners
• High degree of independence, strong sense of ownership, analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, and ability to create clarity in ambiguous situations
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Confident and practical use of AI and digital tools, with specific examples of how you have used them to improve quality, speed or decision-making
• Strong interest in sports, media, entertainment, technology and immersive experiences
