About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading European cybersecurity consultancy seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Consultant to join their growing DACH team in Frankfurt am Main. Our client protects organizations across private and government sectors from sophisticated cyber threats through intelligence-led security services.

In this role, you'll work within a collaborative threat intelligence team to deliver strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence that informs incident response, managed detection and response programs, and adversary simulation activities. You'll contribute to intelligence-led security assessments including TIBER-EU and TLPT frameworks while monitoring open, deep, and dark web sources to identify emerging threats relevant to client environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality threat intelligence across strategic, operational, and tactical use cases for diverse client engagements
• Produce threat landscapes, adversary analysis, campaign tracking, and sector-specific intelligence reports
• Conduct continuous monitoring of open, deep, and dark web sources to identify threats, exposures, and emerging risks
• Provide actionable threat context during incident response engagements to inform response decisions
• Support MDR and Red Team operations by delivering intelligence that enables detection engineering, threat hunting, and adversary emulation
• Contribute to intelligence-led security assessments such as TIBER-EU and TLPT, including threat research and scenario development
• Support capability-building engagements including threat intelligence maturity assessments and operating model design
• Participate in client-facing meetings and briefings, communicating intelligence findings clearly and effectively
• Collaborate with team members to maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement of intelligence deliverables

What We're Looking For

• Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states or Austrian citizenship (required)
• 2–5 years of professional experience, including 1–3 years in cyber threat intelligence or closely related cybersecurity roles
• Hands-on experience contributing to strategic, operational, or tactical threat intelligence use cases
• Exposure to intelligence-led assessment frameworks such as TIBER-EU or TLPT is advantageous
• Solid understanding of threat actors, attacker tradecraft, and intelligence frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK and the intelligence lifecycle
• Experience with open-source, deep, and dark web research and monitoring techniques
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks while collaborating effectively on larger team engagements
• Strong analytical and writing skills with ability to produce clear, structured intelligence deliverables
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams
• Current knowledge of cyber threats, attacker TTPs, and emerging trends
• German and English language proficiency at C1+ level for client-facing work across DACH region

Work Arrangements: Standard business hours with occasional flexibility during active client engagements and incident response support. Limited travel within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (~10%) for onsite engagements, workshops, and stakeholder meetings. Flexible working hours with home office possibilities.
