Senior Associate Operations (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a leading management consultancy firm serving manufacturing and industrial clients across Europe. In this Senior Associate Operations role, you will:

• Lead project modules independently within Operational Excellence engagements, primarily in manufacturing industries including automotive, mechanical engineering, and plant operations
• Analyze value chains and business processes to uncover efficiency opportunities and bottlenecks
• Develop tailored improvement concepts applying Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and similar methodologies
• Work on-site with national and international clients during the week, collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders
• Support the development of long-term client relationships by building deep understanding of operational challenges
• Contribute to adjacent practice areas including Strategy, Supply Chain Management, and Procurement
• Help strengthen the firm's position as a leading consultancy for operations topics in key industrial sectors

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree from a reputable university
• At least 3 years of professional experience at a management consultancy or in an operations environment at an industrial company
• Proven experience independently leading project modules in Operations across various industries
• Solid understanding of operations processes with interest in Lean methodologies, production optimization, and digitalization
• Industry knowledge in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or Defence & Aviation preferred
• Fluency in German and English required; additional languages a plus
• Analytical and structured thinking combined with strong situational awareness and people skills
